The entire compound covers six acres and includes three distinct outbuildings and the Main House. The Carriage House contains a large exercise studio, guest room and project room above parking for three cars and is connected to the main house via a second floor bridge, creating a porte-cochere at ground level. The Pool House is a casual garden pavilion with guest quarters adjacent to a more formal residence. The heart of the pool house is a great room with folding glass walls that open to create an extension of the pool patio beyond. The pool house is airy and comfortable with Douglas fir walls and ceilings and a large fireplace to gather around. Large granite columns and lintels at the garage door and fireplace surround were reclaimed from New England barn buildings. The Art Barn consists of a two-story art studio with parking below for two cars. The art barn echoes elements of the adjacent main house with stone buttresses and wooden brackets at the entrance. The interior of the barn is clad in reclaimed barn boards and a structural timber frame created with reclaimed timbers. Expansive sliding barn doors open on three sides of the studio to provide ample light. A central staircase leads to an overlook of the studio and a loft on the second floor.
